From the Warp Discs -n- Dice
With Boltguns Battles coming on 2011.09.24, I decided to make a display board for my Eldar.I was in luck, because I had based my Eldar and Necron the same, so the board will be able to be used for both.
I started with a cheap cork-board that I purchased on sale during a back-to-school sale. I then used wood glue, because it is stronger than white glue, to glue down the sand and flock.

The 3rd Annual Army in a Weekend has come to its end. Both Hyde and Parker successfully started with nothing but parts on the sprue, and ended with fully painted, tournament-ready 2000 point armies, in 60 hours!

Just a quick anoucnement, our hobby group is doing “Army in a Weekend”.
People are going from sealed box to pained army in 60 hours.

1000 Chapters is on a small haitus while I get ready for the Buckeye Battles 40k RTT.
I am running Tyranid at this tournament. I have to craft 8 Boneswords, 8 Lashwhips, and 8 Rending Claws. I plan on posting pictures of my weak greenstuff work after the tournament.
Then back to the 1000 chapters.

The Imperial Stars were done due to the purple color scheme. Very few space marines wear purple, and I wanted to do a range of colors. Just now in posting this page, I have noticed that I have not completed the campaign badge on the knee. I will do this later and then update the photos.

Presented here is a space marine of the Dark Hunters chapter (3rd company). I am still not happy with the axe chapter icon, but it will have to do (as this is the best I could do in 6 tries).
